„As you all know, I recently announced that I would be moving my EU/UK tour date to the end of August. Since making that announcement it has become clear to me that I need more time to rest. Touring is very difficult for me and my mental health leading up to, on, and after a leg of touring consistently drops to a low that is pretty damaging. That being said, I will be cancelling my August EU/UK dates of The End Of The Movie Tour, as well as my performance at All Points East. I need to regroup and figure out a way to tour that is easier and more sustainable for me, but I promise I will be back next year with a better plan and a new show. Thank you for understanding, I love you all so much. More soon…❤️“
The End of The Movie Tour
Lizzy McAlpine had a clear vision for her second album, Five Seconds Flat. The album tells a 14-song story about heartbreak and Lizzy created an emotional short film to accompany it. After her 2020 debut of Give Me A Minute, Five Seconds Flat was a big step in a new direction and drew praise from the likes of Finneas, Phoebe Bridgers and Shawn Mendes.
The past year has seen Lizzy sell out her first ever headline tours of North America and Europe. She has also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the Ellen DeGeneres Show and she collaborated with Finneas, Jacob Collier and John Mayer. Her music to date has amassed over 300 million streams
