Hailing in one part from Rotterdam, The Netherlands and the other from Bratislava, Slovakia, Distant combines elements of hyper-dissonant downtempo deathcore, slamming brutal death metal, and beatdown to create a vicious world of heaviness, all inspired and twisted around their own lore.

Since their inception in 2014 the band has taken the heavy music world by storm, lashing out with their albums ‘’Tyrannotophia’’ and ‘’Aeons Of Oblivion’’ via Unique Leader Records while recently signing to Century Media Records. With their strong and energetic live performances they are also conquering the world fast. With multiple extensive EU and USA tours on their name, directly supporting gigantic bands such as Lorna Shore and Suicide Silence.

All with all this band has proven themselves to be a strong backbone of the Deathcore community with millions of online streams annually and hundreds of thousands of fans on their social media profiles.
