HAEVN

HAEVN are Jorrit and Marijn; two musicians brought together by their passion for heart-stirring storytelling. With Jorrit’s background in film composing and capturing emotions on screen coupled with Marijn’s soothing and tranquil vocals, together the duo creates cinematic-pop which has fathomed a wide and diverse audience in their native Netherlands and worldwide.

Their debut album ‘Eyes Closed’ (worldwide release with Warner) went platinum, 3 singles went gold and many of the tracks received airplay in the Netherlands and other countries in Europe. The band were nominated for 3 Edisons Awards, a 3FM award and received a Buma Award for Best Sync. The cinematic aspect of their music stands out as many HAEVN tracks are synced in (Netflix) TV Series, Films and commercials for brands such as Vodafone and Volvo.

This commercial success led to HAEVN taking their tales on the road, selling out 6 tours in the Netherlands and 1 in Germany, performing to over 100K concert goers in the process. The band have performed at the Netherlands’ biggest festivals such as Concert at Sea, Appelpop and Royal Park.

Since ‘Eyes Closed’ HAEVN continued to build on top of this success by releasing their follow up EP ‘Holy Ground’ (self released) while also collaborating with UK songstress Birdy. Not forgetting the dream project ‘ Symphonic Tales’ which saw Jorrit and Marijn team up with a 50-piece orchestra to reimagine 6 songs taken from their debut album.

During this time, HAEVN gathered a huge following on Youtube (420.000 subscribers). The duo now generate over 4 million views a month on the platform. Together with over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 250 million plays in total they are reaching many people all over the world with their music.

Now, on the brink of releasing brand new music in 2023 and beyond, HAEVN are preparing to return to Germany for a big tour and planning a first European tour including cities in the UK, France, Poland, Belgium and Italy.
