We’re very sorry to let you down by canceling our upcoming show in Berlin. We’ve had loads of fun playing shows in the city before but this time around our ticket sales have been too low to to cover all our expenses. As many music lovers know – touring has become increasingly difficult after covid so we hope you understand our position.
Your support sincerely means a lot to us. We’re always amazed by the conversations we have with fans after our shows. It’s incredible how many of you travel great distances just to come and see us. Connecting with people is really what music is all about. So we hope you’ll come again next time. The good news is by then we’ll have a whole new album out (!)

Beatenberg. Liegt das nicht in der Schweiz? Paul Klees Skizze des Ortes ist genau die Inspiration, die 2008 das südafrikanische Pop-Trio Beatenberg zusammenbrachte mit dem Wunsch, Neues zu schaffen. Etwas Anderes, dass sich von herkömmlicher Pop-Musik abhebt.
2014 veröffentlichten Drummer Robin Brink, Bassist Ross Dorkin und Matthew Field als Sänger und Gitarrist ihr Debüt-Album „The Hanging Gardens of Beatenberg“ und brechen damit nicht nur die Muster südafrikanischer Popmusik, sondern auch alle Radiorekorde in Südafrika. Siebenmal gewannen sie den South African Music Award, spielten gemeinsam mit Mumford & Sons und waren zu Gast bei Jimmy Fallon. Im Jahr 2022 und nach zwei erfolgreichen Alben sowie einer kleinen musikalischen Pause erschien ihre EP „On the way to Beatenberg“ und steht dem bisherigen Erfolg in nichts nach.
Nach einer erfolgreichen Europa und U.S. Tour im letzten Jahr bringen die drei klassisch ausgebildeten Musiker 2024 ihren unverwechselbar virtuosen Indie Pop-Sound nach Berlin.
