”We regret to inform you that the show at Privatclub is cancelled, you will of course be able to obtain a 100% refund for your ticket from the vendor that you purchased it from. Unfortunately, 2022 has proven to be a very difficult year for touring and businesses generally, and costs have spiralled to the point that it just isn’t feasible to perform these shows to the level of production and the standard that we want to deliver. Therefore we have taken this difficult decision and decided to get the album out in October and then reconvene with a new plan in 2023. Sincere apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. Thanks for your continued support and understanding.”

In 2020, Charlotte Dos Santos was in Oslo when life as we knew it ground to a halt. The Norwegian-Brazilian artist already had the makings of her debut album sketched out. Plenty of songs, crafted as she wrote her stunning 2020 EP Harvest Time, were nearly ready to go. But she ripped those up, and started afresh. In the stillness of isolation, padding around a brightly lit flat with her husband, she reformed the foundations of her debut album, Morfo, out in autumn 2022 on Because Music.
