TicketmasterYoung Franco is in a league of his own. Globally acclaimed for his diverse style that blends electronic, disco, indie, and hip-hop, the cutting-edge producer and DJ has taken his high-energy shows worldwide, building a loyal fanbase across the UK, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia. With an endearing personality and a slew of collaborations with genre-spanning artists from Denzel Curry to Pino D’Angiò, Young Franco is one of Australia’s most exciting musical exports.
A passionate and gifted producer, Young Franco’s output has placed him at the forefront of the international music industry. To date, he has four ARIA-Gold-certified singles, one Emmy nomination, one Queensland Music Award, 200 million streams and over a million monthly listeners on Spotify.
In 2024 alone, Young Franco sold out headline shows at iconic London venues Jazz Cafe and Village Underground, embarked on several headline tours across Europe, and shared a single with Master Peace called ‚Wake Up‘ ahead of his highly anticipated album. So far, the track has received staunch support from BBC Radio 1, with plays coming in thick and fast from Zane Lowe, Sian Eleri, and Jeremiah Asiamah.
The album will land in January via record labels Astralwerks and Of Leisure, alongside his biggest European tour to date. In the lead-up to its release, Young Franco has described the collection as „an accumulation of all my friends, everyone I love, and artists I’ve been privileged to work alongside.“ The LP cross-pollinates disco, italo-disco, dance music, rap, and punk, weaving influences from the UK, America, Italy, Nigeria and Jamaica. A people-person to his core, collaboration is key to Young Franco’s artistry. Featuring vocalists and producers from a myriad of scenes and subcultures like General Levy, Franc Moody, piri & tommy, and a rework of Moloko’s seminal hit ‚Sing It Back‘ with P-Rallel ft. Dana Williams, plus renowned Young Franco tracks like ‚Fallin‘ Apart‘ ft. Denzel Curry and Pell, and the ARIA-Gold-certified track
‚Juice‘ ft. Pell, the 10-track album embodies Young Franco’s drive and enthusiasm for his craft. It’s an exceptional body of work, conveying his ability to make music for enjoyment at any time and place: in the club, in the car, at the beach, and beyond.
Moonlighting in the mainstream while remaining firmly rooted in electronic music, Young Franco has evolved into a credible producer and DJ, no matter the track, set, performance or collaboration at hand. That’s why his single ‚Juice‘ ft. Pell (later remixed by Salute) featured in the film ‚Magic Mike’s Last Dance‘ and why premium brands like Apple, Google, EA Sports and the NFL have commissioned Young Franco to soundtrack their campaigns, fuelling his reputation as a truly authentic artist with an impeccable work ethic.
Born and raised in Brisbane, the Sydney-based artist is an avid soccer player. Along with his Italian heritage, soccer and its culture have informed his musical education. In 2021, the A-League, aka the Australian and New Zealand professional soccer league, used Young Franco and Tkay Maidza’s track ‚Real Nice (H.C.T.F.)‘ ft. Nerve as its official anthem. The following year, FIFA used Young Franco’s track ‚Fallin‘ Apart‘ ft. Denzel Curry & Pell as its
official song and included it the ‚Ultimate FIFA Soundtrack – The 100 Greatest FIFA Tracks Of All Time‘. In 2023, FIFA added his track ‚Rollout‘ to its official soundtrack, which marked a full-circle moment in Young Franco’s storied trajectory.
Since his breakout in 2016 with the ARIA-Gold-certified single ‚Drop Your Love‘ ft. DiRTY RADiO, Young Franco has remained true to his luminary sound and humble nature. Although he has landed multiple accolades, an ever-growing fanbase, and the reputation of a respected and sought-after artist, the Australian-Italian talent still approaches his work with a free-flowing mindset. It stems from a place of joy and appreciation for every moment in the studio, on the road, and in the company of other producers and vocalists, many of whom he counts as friends; it’s just the way of Young Franco.
